PLANS are afoot to start a regular Culture Night in Saul! It is hoped that this will be a weekly or fortnightly event, that will start off with Ceili Dancing and/or Set Dancing followed by a traditional music session (instrumental and singing) writes Mark McGrath.
This will be open to everyone and all people of all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend. Initial thoughts are that this would be on a Friday night. Please register your interest to aid in the planning process. All comments will be taken into consideration as we will need support and enthusiasm to get this up and running.
Please contact Angela at firstname.lastname@example.org or call down to The Club on Saint Patrick’s Day to join the session and find out more.
Sports Predictor competition forms are available from the clubhouse. Predict the winners of some of the major sporting events of 2013 and win a top prize. Details on Facebook and in clubhouse.
Primary school training finishes this week and will return for P1-P4 on Thursday 11 April 6:30-7:30pm at St Patrick’s Park. All children will require warm clothes, water and mouth guard. Football boots are not a necessity, but handy if the pitch is wet. £1 per week. Thanks to everyone for coming along over the last couple of months. Hopefully the little ones have enjoyed it and there will be even more fun whenever we get on the grass.
There will be no U-12 girls or U10 boys over Easter weekend. Training will recommence for them on Saturday 6 April at the usual times: Boys from 10am-11am and Girls from 11am to midday. All players are welcome to come along, even if they haven’t played before.
U-12 boys training resumes after Easter on Friday 5 April from 5-6pm at the pitch. There will probably be a match for the boys the following Sunday morning with an 11am throw-in. Details will be confirmed next week.
