RGU Notes

Congratulations to RGU Scor na nOg representatives Clara Sharvin and Aoife Barnes who have made it into the East Down Final writes John Murphy.

They participated in the solo ballad section and will perform in the final in Finnis on either 16/17 November, date tbc. Everyone at the club wishes them well in the final and urge as many as possible to come along and support them once the date has been confirmed. Well done Aoife and Clara.

Naomh Padraig U-20 were due to take on Kilcoo last night at PTR. The final group match is on Sunday at 11.30am against Rostrevor again at PTR.

The U-6’s are now back at  Ballymote Sports Centre on Saturday, 10.30-11.30am. We hope to see you all. Thanks to the Police and Community Safety Partnership for funding the Halloween Diversity Sporting 8-week programme in conjunction with the club.

Training for Juvenile Girls commences again at Ballymote on Saturday at 11.30-12.30. All U-14 &and U-12 girls are welcome, especially newcomers. Come down and give it a go!

RGU school’s coaching programme has now commenced in St Colmcille’s, St Brigid’s and OLSP under the guidance of Gerdie Collins, John Polly and Conor McGrady.

RGU mass for deceased players, members and friends of the RGU will be celebrated on Wed 20 November at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church.

This week’s lotto numbers are 5, 13, 16 and 19. No jackpot won but six folk share £100. Jackpot now rises to £2400.
