This access is a bridleway and a public pedestrian right of way and should not be used by private unauthorised vehicles. “However as a short-term measure residents asked if some signage could be erected, asking visitors, when parking to consider the need for local residents to access their properties and not obstruct footways or turning spaces.  Council will progress this request and the new signage will consist of the wording, ‘No vehicles to park on lane other than residents and service providers.’ “Public rights of way are a fantastic resource for people, locals and visitors alike. We are fortunate to have so many on our doorstep, it is vital that landowners are not inconvenienced by users of these rights of way.”
