Ms Ritchie said: “I had written to Roads Service in relation to the need to determine areas of the Trassey Road that require widening in order to improve safety.
“The Trassey Road is used extensively by tourists to the area, and the increased volume in traffic, combined by narrow sections of the road, has resulted in safety issues.
“I am pleased that Roads Service will carry out a technical assessment at this location within the next few months during the height of the busy summer period.”]]>
