The Singers’ Circle will be singing Songs From Scotland at the Down Arts Centre from Wednesday 8 January to Tuesday 11 March 2014. ‘The sweetest hours that e’er I spend, are spent amang the lasses, O‘ ” – Robbie Burns Sing in the New Year and meet other people who enjoy singing as part of a group. This term the singers led by folk singer Laurs Plummer  will be delving into Songs from Scotland, including some lovely melodies by the bard himself, Robbie Burns, as well as more contemporary songs.
