Enjoy the Glór Uachtar Tíre Film Night and Supper

The night includes a screening of the most recent Irish language feature length film, Silence (2012, with sub-titles). The film will be introduced by co-writer and main actor, Eoghan Mac Giolla Bhríde. Edited and co-written by Pat Collins, Silence uses sounds in nature to explore themes such as our attraction to land scape, reconciling with the past and language. Silence will be preceded by a choral performance by Castlewellan and Belfast Irish language choirs; Cór Uachtar Tíre agus Cór Loch Lao under the directorship of Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhríde.
