Come along to a free screening of ‘Addams Family Values’ in The Saint Patrick Centre this Halloween, Thursday 31 October from 2.30pm or 4.30pm.

Down District Council is encouraging residents to be environmentally friendly this Halloween and to highlight that a range of new items can now be recycled in your blue bin, the Council is inviting residents to come along to watch The Addams Family sequel on the big screen.  Entry is free of charge when you bring along an empty juice carton or piece of foil packaging to be recycled.

Council Chairman Counciloor Maria McCarthy said: “We need to substantially reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill every day, taking a step back and considering other options for the items we are about to throw in the bin is an absolutely key part of this process.

“We hope this event will encourage residents to start recycling their wax cartons and foil containers. There will also be spot prizes on the day for best fancy dress and best home-made recycled costume.”

Booking is advised. To guarantee your place please call 028 4461 2233.
