ARDGLASS GAC are currently seeking coaches for all their teams for 2013. Over the past few seasons the same volunteers have been bearing the burden of coaching teams while also running all the off-field activities within the club.

Kueran Shields, Chairman said, “We need new blood to help with coaching of teams, No experience is necessary as all training and support will be given to new coaches.

“Currently we are fielding at Senior, reserve, Minor, U-16, U-14, U-12, U-10 and U-8 and need help with all teams.

“Down GAA are running the following Coaching Courses through the club  at the weeks below.

 GAA Child Protection Course 

Drumaness GAC

Wednesday 13th Feb 2013

7pm – 10pm

Foundation Level Football Award

Drumaness GAC

Saturday 16th Feb 2013

9am – 4.30pm

*This course is open to beginner coaches of all age groups. Attendees are reminded that they MUST also complete a GAA Child Protection Workshop to fully complete their Foundation Coaching Award

Level 1 Youth / Adult Football Award 

Pairc Esler Newry

Friday 15th Feb: 7-10pm

Saturday 16th Feb: 9.15am – 4.30pm

Sunday 17th: 9.30am – 4pm

*This course is open to all coaches who have completed their Foundation Coaching Award and GAA Child Protection Workshop.

Candidates on this course will be required to attend ALL three sessions in full. To successfully complete this course, candidates will also be required to submit a completed log book after the course has finished.
