Ardglass GAC Notes fro 3/6/2013

Last Wednesday the club along with St Mary’s Dunsford and St Nicholas’ Ardglass organised a black and red day at both schools prior to Down’s Senior Championship game v Derry. All the children and Staff dressed in Red and Black for the day while coaching was provided by ladies star Kyla Trainor helped by Mark Poland and Ambrose Rodgers. Thanks to Mrs Martin and Mr Fitzsimmons for co -ordinating the day, this was the first club school link day and was a great success writes Linda Crangle.

The U-14’s lost away to St John’s last Monday while all other teams had no games due to exam break etc, This week Ardtole will host an East Down U-10 Blitz on Saturday at 10.30, hosting Castlewellan, Teconnaught, Kilclief and Liatriom.
2013 Cul Camp will be held from 8-12th July at Ardtole, The cost to attend the Cúl Camp remains the exact same as in 2012:1st Child: £35 Each additional child: £30 each.The cost to attend the Nursery Camp is £25 per child. further details from Paul O’Shea, Facebook page or from www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie 
 
Seniors won 2-8 to 0-11 at home to Teconnaught last friday. Next game at home to Aghaderg on Friday 7.30pm, training continues on Monday and Wednesday at 7pm
 
Bingo continues every Sunday night at Ardtole clubhouse, so come along for a bit of craic and a wee cup of tea. Its a great way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday night. Doors open at 7pm games start at 7.30pm.
 
Darts league starts this week also, if you fancy yourself as the next Eric Bristow come along on Saturday night at 7.30pm.
 
Last weeks lotto numbers were 3,6,10,15 no jackpot winners, and there were 2X£10 winners.
 
The club would also like to wish our  Committe member Jackie Shields a speedy recovery after her recent operation.
