A Season of Harmony and Melody

A Season of Harmony and Melody.

“Music is best heard at the moment when it is performed; that’s when music is truly alive “. (Miles Davis)

In February and March there will be a short season of accessible music events, classical, popular and sacred, around Downpatrick, celebrating spring and love, three new Irish voices, and Holy Week

Reviews By George Fleeton

After Easter the Lunchtime Recitals at Down Arts Centre will be reprised, including a special Maria Callas tribute to mark the 90th anniversary of her birth

Most of the Season’s performers will be singers, songwriters and instrumentalists with strong local connections to Co. Down

This Season of Harmony and Melody is produced and presented by Downe Independent Promotions, with thanks to
