Police arrested two teenagers on suspicion of theft and recovered a number of twenty litre drums containing oil in the Ardglass area.
Police responded to the report and stopped the vehicle in the Hunter’s Way area of Ardglass. A total of fourteen drums full of oil were found in the car along with a number of wooden panels.
The two 17-year-olds arrested who were helping police with their initial enquiries have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Thanks to you, local officers were able to respond and make these arrests. This is a great example of the local community and the police working together.”
