Tote Racing Club Gets Off The Mark At Downpatrick Races

The Tote Racing Club got off the mark at Downpatrick on Friday night at Downpatrick with their mare Hilden winning by an eased-down six lengths in the Racing All the Way Handicap Hurdle writes Joe Kavanagh.

Trained by Gordon Elliott, Hilden was given an excellent ride by jockey Davy Condon to carry the Tote Racing Club colours to victory for the first time.

Tim Higgins, CEO of Tote Ireland, said: “I am really excited to have had our first winner in the Tote Racing Club. The Tote Racing Club is a fun way for our customers to be involved with a racehorse and enjoy all the excitement that it brings.

Gordon Elliott, trainer of Hilden said: “She was tough! It’s great for the Tote Racing Club as it is their first winner.”
