Success At End Of Line For B/E Aerospace In Kilkeel

B/E Aerospace at Kilkeel has built its 100,000th ‘pax’ (passenger seat place) this year, a landmark production achievement for a company which already manufactures more than a quarter of the world’s airline seating.

Martin McGinley, Managing Director and Vice President of B/E Aerospace Kilkeel, congratulated the 830 employees, adding: “This is a fantastic achievement and tangible evidence of the high levels of expertise, dedication and commitment of all our employees.  We’re proud to be playing our part within the B/E Aerospace network, providing seating and interior products for all the world’s major airlines.”

The honour of producing the 100,000th pax, an order for economy class seating for German national airline, Lufthansa, fell to Line 4 at the factory and there were cheers from the team as Martin McGinley rolled out a cake to celebrate the occasion.
