Rural Business Funding Available In Down

THE Down Rural Area Partnership (DRAP) will be opening invitations for grant applications on 9am Friday 7th January until Monday 14th February closing at 4pm. People with potential development projects within the area of Ards, Banbridge, Down and North Down can apply.

The funding for projects will be made through the NI Rural Development Programme 2007-13. The categories for funding include Diversification into Non-Agricultural Activities, Business Creation and Development, Encouragement of Tourism Activities, Conservation and Ungrading of the Rural Heritage.

There will be public information evenings in the following venues:

Ards Business Centre – 7.30pm on Tuesday 11th January.

Banbridge Enterprise Centre – 7.30pm on Thursday 13th January.

Signal Centre, Bangor – 7.30pm on Tuesday 18th January.

Down Business Centre – 7.30pm on Thursday 20th January.
