RGU Notes

Handball Finals last Wednesday in Saval writes John Farran. They all won their respective age groups to become County Champions. They now move into the Ulster Championship where they will be joined by Aoife Barnes, Ryan Sterritt, Ronan Murphy and Paul Smyth. Also through to the Ulster Championships is Hugh Dornan who won the County U16 Handball Singles title on Sunday. Unfortunately Riain Doran, Ciaran Hampton and John McKeever came up short in their matches, especially the latter two who lost out after a very close tiebreaker. Congratulations to them all and we wish them good luck in the Ulster Championship. We are looking for more handball coaches to help with the work load. Our handballers are doing well and we want this to continue. Handball Foundation Training courses are available for anyone who wants to help, contact Ciaran Cunningham (07528260062) for further information.
