“Have may you been googling yourself into one of many equally terrible and terrifying illnesses? Have you or a family member or friend been putting off or avoiding the doctor for too long? Well, You Should Really See a Doctor…

“Dr Pixie McKenna and Dr Phil Kieran are coming to Birr. In this brand new RTE One medical series Pixie and Phil travel to popular events across the country with their pop-up clinic, offer on the spot consultations and health checks.

“We are particularly interested in hearing from people going to the game fair at Birr who have researched their symptoms online and would like a real doctor’s advice. Most of us have been there: you feel a mild pain in the head and next thing you’re reading an Internet article about a rare tropical disease that you think you might have. From stomach problems, to sleep issues to skin problems – the real doctors want to hear from you.

“Whether it’s a new problem or something that’s been bothering you for years, fill out the application form and get checked out.

“You can also fill out an application form on behalf of a family member or friend by filling out the relevant section online,”  added Albert Titterington.
