Killyleagh Artist Paints Castle Christmas Card for Marie Curie Cancer Care
A Christmas card featuring a painted snow scene of Killyleagh Castle is being sold to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. This is the fourth year that local artist Wendy Cromie, who paints watercolour scenes in and around her hometown of Killyleagh, has produced a specially designed card and to date, sales of the annual Christmas cards have raised over £1,200 for the charity.
Cards are available from the Picnic Deli, the Post Office and the Kingfisher Craft Gallery, all located in High Street, Killyleagh, or contact Wendy by e-mail:
The cards will also be available at the Craft Fair during this year’s Killyleagh Christmas Light switch-on and Community Evening which takes place on the evening of Tuesday 3 December.
