Part of a series of events to launch the new Ulster Scots children’s series ‘Maidie & Cal’, the story-telling session and book signing is ideal for kids aged between 7 and 10, who will enjoy travelling across the nine counties of Ulster in the company of Maidie and her brother, Cal, to discover what it’s like to be an Ulster-Scot today.

Both author, Diane Hoy, and illustrator, Jonathan Temples, will be in the centre, telling stories and drawing with children, as well as signing copies of the books which will be on sale at £7.99, with bookmarks and goodie bags for those who buy a copy.

The storytelling and book signing take place on Saturday 16 November from 11.00am to 12.30pm in Ards Tourist Information Centre, 31 Regent Street, Newtownards, Tel: 028 9182 6846.
