Hans Sloane Chocolate Festival In Killyleagh Supports Cancer Fund For Children

Confirmed as the beneficiary of this year’s festival fundraising activities, the Cancer Fund for Children is the leading local charity that provides practical, emotional and financial support to children and young people affected by cancer and their families.

It  offers therapeutic short breaks to families at Daisy Lodge, Newcastle, located just a short drive from Killyleagh. The charity will benefit from funds raised through the Hans Sloane Chocolate Ball’s charity auction as well as contributions made by the public at the Festival.

Speaking at the launch, Rachel Burgoyne, Cancer Fund for Children, said: “We are really looking forward to a weekend filled with fun for the whole family at the Hans Sloane Chocolate & Fine Food Festival.

“The children and families we support are at the heart of everything we do, and the wide-reaching, all-inclusive element and close proximity of this festival make it an ideal partner event. We look forward to raising significant funds this year to further help young people impacted by cancer across Northern Ireland.”
