Gerry Kelly, broadcaster and patron of Special Olympics Ireland, said: “I am delighted to be part of this fantastic golfing event with Down Special Olympics Club this year on my home course. Down Special Olympics Club is a cross-community sports club that continues to make a major difference to the lives of many athletes with an intellectual disability and it is a privilege for me to be part of that.”

Down Special Olympics Club has helped change lives through sport for many years; helping athletes develop both physically and emotionally, make new friends, realise their dreams and know that they can fit in with others. This is set to be an enjoyable day for all.”
