Everyone at the football club would like to wish our members, players, coaches, sponsors and all their families a Happy New Year for 2017.

The Downpatrick

Downpatrick FC continues to invest in its junior players. 

Downpatrick will be looking to get back to winning ways on Saturday when they travel to play Shankill United in the league. This match kicks off at 2.00pm.

The seconds travel to play Killough in the first round of the Harry Clarke Cup this Saturday, this match kicks off at 1.30pm.

The Under-19’s are back in league action this weekend when they play league leaders Linfield in the league. This match is at Ballymacoss and kicks off at 11.00am.

The U-16’s also return to the league action on Saturday when they play TW Braga at Barbour Playing Fields. The kick off for this match is 9.30am.

The Downpatrick Youth League also returns this weekend after the Christmas break, and the Under-15’s play Coney Island in Dunleath with kick off at 9.30am.

The under 13’s also have a league fixture on Saturday morning when they play Lurgan Town in Dromore. This match kicks off at 11.15am.

The 9-a-side development team also have matches on Saturday morning, they play Ballynahinch Olympic at 11.40am and Rossglass at 12.05pm. This team also had the fortune of sampling the atmosphere at the Border Cup Final when they were able to play Rathfriland at half-time. A great experience for all involved.

The Mini Soccer returns on Sunday 7 January at the Red High. The coaches will contact the players before Sunday.

Our Mini Soccer and Under-6 training will return on Monday 9 January. The Under-6’s and kids born in 2010, 2009 and 2008 is from 6.00pm – 7.00pm and those children born in 2007 and 2006 is from 7.00pm – 8.00pm. Please note the Under-6’s training is indoor.
