Downpatrick are in Border Cup action on Wednesday 27 November  against local rivals Kilmore Rec in the semi-final. The kick off is at 7.30pm at Seaview on the Shore Road, Belfast. If anyone is interested in going the club is putting on a bus for supporters. It leaves the bus station at 6.20pm.  £5.00 for adults and £3.00 for primary school children.dn_screen

Downpatrick firsts came up short in the second round of the Intermediate Cup. They lost 2 – 1 away to Camlough Rovers with  Blaine Connolly scoring Downpatrick’s goal.

Both teams are in league action this Saturday with the first team travelling to Rosario YC and the second team entertain Ardglass Swifts in Dunleath, both games kick off at 2.00pm.

Saturday sees the end of the clubs ‘Movember’ challenge. A lot of effort has gone into growing the beards some boys have had more success than others. There is still time to sponsor the boys and if interested please contact a committee member.

Girls only soccer continues’s on Saturday afternoons in Down Leisure Centre from 3–4 pm. The cost is £2.00 and all girls are asked to bring a drink.
