Council Financial Assistance Call Opens 27 February to 31st March 2017

The Newry Mourne and Down District Council Financial Assistance call opens on Monday 27 February and closes at 4 pm on Friday 31 March 2017. Application forms are available from the Council website:

The Council is hosting three workshops for advice and guidance. The three meetings will have all the same information so you can attend whichever one suits you best:

Monday 27 February – Kilmorey Arms Hotel, Kilkeel@ 6.45pm
Tuesday 28 February – Millbrook Lodge Hotel, Ballynahinch @ 6.45pm
Wednesday 1 March – Canal court Hotel, Newry @ 6.45pm

Crowdfunding UK Training – Cookstown: Tuesday 21 March 2017

NICVA & the Rural Community Network are offering a one-day training course on crowdfunding in partnership with Crowdfund UK, Northern Ireland Environment Link(NIEL) and Rural Community Network (RCN). The course will be delivered by Anne Strachanon, a trainer and fundraiser for over 20 years and an associate partner with Business Angels Finance International LLP. Anne runs innovative training and support for the third sector, social investment and crowdfunding.  The workshop will begin at 10am and finish at 3.30pm. The session will include:
*  Introduction to Crowdfunding;
*  How Crowdfunding works
*  You as the Crowd
*  Live campaigns
*  Planning and running an effective campaign
*  Questions and answer

Sport NI: Everybody Active 2020 – Outdoor Spaces

Every Body Active 2020: Outdoor Spaces is a Lottery funded grant’s programme aimed at developing new outdoor recreation facilities and infrastructure spread across Northern Ireland. The closing date is 4pm 28 February 2017.
