Check New Irish Passport Procedures Says Mac Con Midhe

Sinn Féin Councillor Éamonn Mac Con Midhe said the public needs to be made fully aware of new procedures in applying for an Irish passport that will limit the ways an application can be posted.dn_screen

Councillor Mac Con Midhe said: “As of the 30 June applications sent to the passport office by regular or registered post will no longer be processed and will be immediately returned to the applicant. Applicants applying by post after this date will have to submit their applications via the passport express services offered by the Post Office.

“Alternatively those wishing to submit a passport application by attending the passport office in Dublin can now book an appointment at www.passportserviceappointments.ie.”
