Any young members interested in registering for the Ulster Council Goldmark Award Scheme are asked to contact Ronan McVeigh ASAP on 07500 932464. The scheme endorses volunteers who commit their time to the GAA and is recognised for future College selections and as part of your CV. Well done to Mairead Kavanagh on being selected as a Ulster Schools All Star 2014. A great achievement for Mairead!

P5/P6 training in the Hall this Saturday will now be at 3pm and will finish at 4.15pm – cost £1.50 per child. The early slot is unavailable due to maintenance work being carried out.

The Dinner Dance is on 21/3/14 – tickets are onsale this weekend – all 2013 award winners please return trophies to the club any Sunday night after 8.30pm.

Ford Fight Night is arranged for Easter Monday in the Club – anybody willing to take part contact Paul Laverty 07525 369443.

Juvenile Registration is on 9th February at 2.30pm. All children to be registered before that can play Gaelic Games.

Adult Registration is also open and can be paid to any committee member.

Mairead McKibbin will again be carrying out the role of Player Welfare Officer. In 2013 Mairead successfully negotiated all players injury queries & rehabilitation and this will continue in 2014 – any player with concerns or needing advice on physio treatment Mairead is the first point of contact

This Sunday sees the seniors travel to Derry City to play Steelstown Brian Ogs in the Ulster League at mid-day – the players coach will leave St Patricks Park at 8.30am Sharp. Anyone travelling to the game the pitch is approx 500yds on the otherside of the Foyle Bridge – at the time of going to Press the Ulster Hurling Final is scheduled for Celtic Park on Sunday at 2pm so a great day out can be had in the Maiden City!!
