The Club would like to send its best wishes to Patsy Farrand after his recent stint in hospital.  We hope you have a very speedy recovery. Get well soon.

The ladies continued their fine form on Saturday night with a 6-22 to 0-0 victory over new comers Killyleagh. It was a very one=sided affair with everyone putting in a fine performance. Scores from Mary McGrady 0-5, Elaine Watson1-0, Alisha Treacy 2-0, Kaera Paterson 0-1, Rachael Ranaghan 0-3, Leah Milligan 0-1, Michelle Lavery 0-4, Kiera Turley 0-3, Natasha Lavery 0-2, Emma McAleese 0-2, Elaine Laird 1-0, Francyne McClinton 2-1. Another great performance girls, keep it up. Training continues Tuesday and Thursday at 6.45pm writes Ciara Sharvin.

The Under-14’s had a top of the table clash with Kilclief on Tuesday (28 May) and came away winning 5-11 to 4-12. The game was entertaining from start to finish. Bright struggled in the 1st half to cope with the height and strength of the midfield and the pace of half forwards. They went into the break down by 8 points. A couple of positional changes in the 2nd half seemed to give Bright a new believe so much so Kilclief only scored 1-02 in the half. John Burns, Marc Burke and Mateo Crispie (3) got the goals while Taylor Broggy, Kain Tierney, Daniel McMenamin, Sam Dinu and Curtis Ward chipped in with the points. Paul Tempany and Jude McCrissican also played well for Bright. This was a tough game for the boys and they needed to step up to the mark and they duly obliged. Well done guys.
