WITH the new season starting membership is now due.  There will be registration nights arranged in Ballynoe and Killough, with dates to be confirmed or alternatively you can pay to any committee member writes Ciara Sharvin.

All memberships must be paid by 1 March, and any paid after this time will not be eligible to be put in the draw for the All-Ireland Final tickets.
Membership prices are as follows:
Family – £70 (two non playing parents plus 2 under 18s either playing or not) 65 & over – £20 Juvenille – £15 (under 18) Student – £25 (must be fulltime & student card must be shown) Adult player – £50 Non playing Adult – £30 Bright Senior Men are currently looking for new management! Ladies training continues every Monday and Wednesday night at 7pm in Bodyshock at Ballydugan Industrial Estate.
The Bright Youth Development Officer is holding a meeting on Friday 25 January at 7pm in Bright Community Hall for parents of our juvenile players. All players are also welcome to attend. Discussion topics will include: the season ahead; preparation from both player and parent; training and match schedules; mouth gaurds; registration and fees. We will also introduce the coaching staff on the night. If anyone is interested in volunteering to help with the coaching and mentoring of our Juvenile teams please contact Ollie 07533563788. The meeting will last no more than 1 hour. It’s important that you, the parent, turns up to ensure that you have a say in the development of your child. All managers & volunteers involved with any underage teams must have a child protection certificate.  This is mandatory. Our Child Protection Officer Aimee Tumelty is currently organising training for this, anyone involved or who wishes to help out with the juvenille teams must contact Aimee so she can inform them of further details when confirmed. Mob: 07746304176.  Also as regards to the Juvenille teams, It is now compulsory for all Juvenille players (under 18s) to wear Mouthguards during both training and matches.  Any under 18 who attends either training or matches without one will not be allowed to participate.
The Down County Monthly Draw will recommence this month. This draw offers wonderful cash prizes every month and also benefits the club in that part of the proceeds are returned to us.  If anyone wishes to join please contact any committee member.  Tickets are £120 and can be paid in full via cash or cheque or alternatively via monthly Direct Debit of £10 monthly.
There are still places available in the clubs own monthly 200 club draw, anyone wishing to join please contact Martin Tumelty or any committee member.
The local Bingo continues to run every Sunday at 8pm in Bright Hall, Ballynoe, come along and try your luck.
Bright Community Hall is available for hire. This would be suitable for all sports training as well as Zumba; Body Pump, Boxercise etc. For bookings please phone Joe 07811176087Our Lotto is a great fundraiser and without it we could not continue. The club is looking for some more people to form Lotto teams to help lighten the load! the more teams the less work for everyone! If interested in helping out please contact any committee member. Lotto numbers for Sunday 20th January were 11, 12, 16, 18, one person won £50.  This weeks jackpot is £4350.
