Bright GAC Notes

Juvenile Presentation took place last week. Thanks to everyone who attended and to all who helped it to be successful night! A special huge thank you to Mark Poland from the Down Senior team who made the presentations on the night. Everyone was delighted to have him there. The U12’s were presented with medals for winning their league and the U-14’s for winning the Spring League this year. Individual prize winners were: U-16’s – Managers Player of the Year, James Hanna; Players Player of the Year, John McLeigh; Sportsperson of the year Decky Quinn; Most Improved player of the year, Paddy Mageean.

U-14’s – Managers player of the year Corey Ranaghan; Players Player of the Year, Conor Black; Sportsperson of the Year Ross McLeigh; Most Improved Player of the Year,  Conor Burns. Corey Ranaghan and Conor Black also received awards for representing Bright on the East Down Development squad. U-12’s – Manager’s Player of the yYear, Marc Burke; Players player of the year Daniel McMenamin; Sportsperson of the Year, Caolan Murray; Most Improved Player of the Year Kian Tierney. The U-10’s and U-8’s were presented with medals for competing in every blitz organised by the East Down Board with the emphasis on developing skills and enjoyment of Gaelic football. The Senior Presentation will take place on Saturday, November 19^th at the Castle Inn at 7pm. Divine Harmony will be playing which should prove to be a good night. Cost is £15 per person. Quiz night has been scheduled for Friday, November 4^th at the Castle Inn at 9pm. Teams should consist of five and the cost will be £15 per team. The AGM will take place on Sunday, November 27^th at 3pm. All members and prospective members are invited to attend. Lotto numbers this week are 10, 17, 26 and 27. One £50 winner with three numbers. Next weeks jackpot will be £1150.
