Ballynahinch RFC 1^st XV hosted Old Wesley in Division 1B of the UBL, winning 27-6.

Ballynahinch 2’s travelled to Clogher Valley in the Conference League, winning 85-0.

Ballynahinch 5’s travelled to Ards 2’s in the Provincial League, winning 15-5.

Ballynahinch 6’s hosted Ballyclare 4’s in the Provincial League, losing 37-30.

Club notes

Mini rugby continues on Saturday mornings from 9.30-11am. Boys and girls from P1 – Yr8 are all welcome, with training run for each age group in their school year. Mini rugby news is posted weekly on the club Facebook page

Ballynahinch RFC are running an annual fundraiser in the form of a Car Draw. Tickets are priced at £20 with the main draw taking place in the clubhouse on Saturday 23^rd December at 6.30pm. Early bird ticket purchasers will also be entered into a Front Runners Draw on Saturday 4^th November at 5.30pm.

This week Ballynahinch are in Cork to take on Dolphin in the UBL. A large travelling support is expected. The 2^nd XV continue their defence of the Junior Cup against Instonians. They wamed up with a facile thrashing of Clogher Valley in Fivemiletown on Saturday in the Conference League. The referee blew up after 60 minutes with Ian Dornan’s men 85-0 up. Scorers included Joe Bingham 4, Aaron Ferris 3, James McBriar 2 and Rhys O’Donnell 2. Paddy Wright converted 10 of their 14 tries.
