Registrations of all juvenile players from U-16 down to U-6 will take place at the Fin Hall this Saturday 18 January from 11.00 to 12.00 pm writes Gerard Lenaghan.

The Active Start GAA coaching for ages 4 – 6 will re-commence this Saturday at 10.15 am in the Fin Hall. Younger ones may join in but must have parental supervision for full duration of the session.

dn_screenWith mouthguards now compulsory for all GAA players in all grades and LGFA players from minors and below, it is imperative that proper fitting is achieved for maximum protection. There are boil and bite products on the market but for those that prefer the custom fitted mouthguards a dental practicioner will be in attendance at the Fin Hall next Sunday at 12.30 pm. The process involves a technician taking a mould of your dental composition and within 10 days the mouthguards will be available for collection from the club. They cost £25 and owners can have name inscribed and choice of colours. Please contact Gerard Lenaghan 0785 426 2858 to book approx. time for attending in advance.

There are a few copies of the Down GAA Yearbook, signed by Benny Coulter, remaining priced at £10. First come, first served.

The club have 20 Down GAA Club draw tickets which they must sell. They are £120 each. For every ticket after 20 that are sold the club receive £96 so if you can purchase one it will go along way to help finance the running costs incurred by the club. Sales are steady and we hope to increase sales upwards on last year.
