DO you have piles of old books in your home?
Why not donate them and help raise funds for the upkeep of one of Northern Ireland’s finest historic houses and scenic countryside estates?
Castle Ward by the shores of Strangford Lough, just outside Downpatrick, is appealing once again for your generous support and it will welcome all donations of books, tapes, CDs, LPs and music sheets for its annual book fair on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th November.
This Book Fair has been a great success for Castle Ward in recent years and many people have been very generous by supplying us with books and supporting us by attending the fair. Money raised from the fair enables Castle Ward to carry out many improvements to the house and on the demesne which will add to the overall visitor experience.
All manner of publications and music – fiction, biographies, cookery books, children’s titles, coffee table books, CDs or LP’s as well as music sheets will be gratefully received by the book shop volunteers at Castle Ward.
