Need Help with your Business?
Businesses from across Down District Council area are invited to attend a Business Information and Support Market organised by the Beyond business programme and network. The event will take place on Thursday 23 February in the Burrendale Hotel, Newcastle from 11am to 1pm.
Rhonda McDowell, Down District Council Business Outreach Officer, said: “There are many sources of business support and advice available. It can be difficult for business owner/managers to keep up to date with changing support provision or knowing who to contact for business advice.
Get your business to Beyond
"With this in mind the aim of this Business Information and Support Market is to enable local business owner/managers to source relevant business information under one roof, allowing as many local businesses to have access to business support providers and programmes as possible”.
The Beyond network has over 250 businesses registered on its support website. In addition to regular networking events, workshops and mentoring part of Beyond’s remit is to signpost local businesses to programmes, events and organisations which may be relevant to their business support needs.
This open invitation is to encourage businesses who would like to tap into available sources of business support to come along to the Burrendale Hotel event.
On the day there will be Beyond expert mentors, Down Business Centre, South Eastern Regional College Business Support Unit, Invest NI, Department for Employment and Learning, Log on NI, Labour Relations Agency, Belfast Central Library (Business Department), Crime Prevention Officer and local chambers of commerce among those exhibiting at the event.
Small and medium sized businesses (SME’s) from one person businesses to those employing up to 250 persons are encouraged to attend. The event is suitable for those running a business from business premises or from home on a full time or part time basis.
The Beyond Programme is delivered by Down District Council and part financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the European Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland.
